This rectangular air vent measuring approximately 20 × 4 cm allows for the addition of an air exchange zone on side walls, front surfaces, lids, and other compatible parts of terrariums, breeding boxes, and modified containers.
The narrow, elongated format allows airflow to be distributed over a compact surface, while the mesh of approximately 2 × 2 mm creates small-sized openings. The number and position of the vents should be chosen based on the container's volume and the environmental parameters required by the setup.
It is suitable for reptiles, amphibians, arachnids, insects, crustaceans, and other small invertebrates compatible with the mesh dimensions, the aeration provided, and the overall container configuration.

- Animal compatibility: verify that the animal's species, size, strength, and behavior are compatible with the approx. 2 × 2 mm mesh, the aeration provided, and the chosen configuration.
- Risk of escape or entrapment: ensure that animals or feeder insects cannot pass through the mesh, become trapped, damage the product, or ingest any fragments.
- Installation: verify that the approx. 20 × 4 cm air vent is compatible with the surface and any opening made.
- Fastening: use screws compatible with the material and thickness of the container, or an adhesive suitable for PETG, the surface, and the expected environmental conditions.
- Assembly safety: screws must not leave exposed tips or sharp parts and must be tightened without deforming the product. In case of gluing, wait for the adhesive to dry, stabilize, and cool completely before introducing animals.
- Aeration and environmental parameters: excessive or insufficient air exchange can alter humidity, temperature, and air quality. Check the container's parameters after installation.
- Thermal risk: use exclusively between 0 and 45 °C. Do not expose to open flames, heat sources above 45 °C, or heating systems without a thermostat.
- Positioning: ensure that substrate, decor, plants, rocks, branches, or other accessories do not obstruct airflow or interfere with the attachment system.
- Mechanical risk: do not use as a structural element, handhold, support point, or surface intended to support the animal's weight.
- Maintenance: hand wash with warm water and mild soap. Do not use solvents or harsh detergents, do not put in the dishwasher, and dry completely before reuse.
- Periodic check: regularly verify integrity, fastening stability, and cleanliness of the mesh. In the presence of cracks, deformations, sharp parts, obstructions, loose screws, or detachment of the adhesive, discontinue use.
